JUICING YOUR WAY TO BETTER HEALTH

The most effective way of choosing the right juices for your health is to juice them up yourself. These homemade juices are most suitable for children and can be served at parties too. Nothing can beat the nutrition and energy obtained from vegetables juices as well as fruit juices.
There are healthy juices that are more appetizing than the traditional juices. These juices are ideal for those guests who are driving or are teetotal. The juice can be served along with long cut pieces of carrot which are used in cocktails too. You need the following ingredients to prepare the juice-
· 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
· Half cucumber, chopped
· 1 clove garlic, chopped (discretionary)
· 1 carrot, chopped
· Salt and black pepper
· 2 cans of425 gms tomato juice
· 100 gms of cooked and chopped beetroot
· 2tsps Worcestershire sauce
To make the juice, you need to mix the vegetables with half a can of tomato juice. This mixture must then be transferred to a jug or punch bowl. To this, add the remaining tomato juice. You will then have to add Worcestershire sauce, pepper and salt for taste. You can have the drink once it is stirred and chilled.
You can also try making the following juice for kids’ parties. The ingredients needed are as follows-
· 424 ml of chilled mixed fruit juice drink
· 275 ml of chilled bitter lemon
· 275 mil of chilled apple juice
· 2 lemons, quartered and finely sliced
· 2 oranges, sliced and quartered
Firstly, you must mix the chilled mixed fruit juice drink with chilled bitter lemon and chilled apple juice. To this you must add the sliced lemons and oranges. This recipe can then be chilled and accordingly served. The lemon and oranges are served as garnish. The use of colorful ice cubes will attract more kids.
